Our Fillers: Juvéderm and Teosyal

Juvéderm and Teosyal are two of the most popular filler products available in Canada. Both are hyaluronic acid (HA) based, meaning that they boast a natural, biocompatible substance that is already present in your skin and body — we're just adding more of it during your treatment! HA is a moisture loving sugar molecule that naturally absorbs water and expands. This is how it plumps up and smoothes your skin.

Depending on the type of filler you receive and the area targeted, results can last from 6 months to 2 years. Repeated injections give you longer lasting results because of the collagen boosting benefits that fillers give you with each treatment!

Juvéderm

Manufactured by Allergan (the makers of BOTOX), Juvéderm is a wonderfully smooth gel that consistently achieves natural looking results for our patients. There are a variety of products in the Juvéderm family, including Juvéderm Ultra, Ultra Plus and VOLUMA. The former two address a broad range of issues while VOLUMA is for serious volume replacement and dramatic lip enhancement.

Teosyal

Teosyal is manufactured by Teoxane, a company based in Switzerland. Popular in Europe, Teosyal is praised for its ability to achieve beautiful results relatively quickly. There are a variety of products under then name, each designed to address a specific aesthetic concern.
