What are BOTOX®, DYSPORT® and XEOMIN®?
BOTOX®, XEOMIN® and DYSPORT® are neuromodulators, which means that they target nerves that signal muscles to move. By interrupting the transmission of these signals, the muscles relax and the overlying skin no longer wrinkles or creases. Platysma bands in the neck react by softening and becoming less visible. For jawline contouring, the masseter muscle is targeted to reduce its bulkiness, so the jawline becomes less squarish and prominent. It is typically used to "feminize" the facial shape.
Just one treatment can give you results for about 3-6 months or so. Results are dependant on the patient, injection technique, concentration and other factors.
